What is the Ski Event participant's profile?

The Ski Event ESCP Europe is an event organized mainly for the ESCP Europe Community. People of the ESCP Europe Community are:
• Students from all campuses and all programs (MiM, MEB, BiM etc.);
• Alumni of the School;
• Guests and friends of students;
• Representatives of companies which are sponsors and/or partner of the School;
• ESCP Europe staff and professors;

Do I need to be a good skier or snowboarder?

No you don’t. During the event we will provide you ski and snowboard instructors if you want to improve your level. In general, the event is about having fun and sharing great memories with the participants. There will be also a lot of extra activities for no skier to enjoy the mountain in another way.

Is the beginning of March a good period for skiing?

Megève’s ski area counts on 192 km of slopes. In all, 85 ski lifts for 157 slopes! There are 81 ski lifts: 35 chairlifts, 46 ski tows and 157 slopes: 30 green, 67 blue, 50 red, 10 black, 3 snow parks and 472 ski cannons. In general, the altitude is from 1000 to 2070 metres. March is one of the best months for skiing as snow is still there but it’s not too cold. And not to mention that daylight lasting for longer will allow you to fully take advantage of your skiing journey!

Which is the best way to reach Megève?

We suggest you to travel by plane if you’re coming from the Berlin, London, Madrid or Warsaw Campus and flight to Geneve or Turin in order to benefit of our shuttle from the airport to the hotel. From the Turin Campus will be available a shuttle which will take you directly to the Hotel. The cost of the shuttle is 10€ for a return ticket. Otherwise, if you are coming from Paris you can choose to travel directly by train and reach the Megève Station where our team members will welcome you.
Please remember that in order to get our shuttle service you need to communicate your travel choice on the website.

Will there be any transfer between the airport and Hotel?

If you take one of the suggested flights and you communicate us the time and the flight before the 16th February, we will provide you with a shuttle from Caselle Airport (Torino) or from Geneve Airport to the Hotel. The Shuttle takes approximately 3 hours from Turin (Caselle) and 1 hour and a half from Geneve.

There will be any transfer between the Turin Campus and the Hotel?

The shuttles will leave the Turin campus (C.so Unione Sovietica 218 bis) on Saturday 4th March (detailed timetable will be deliver to you in a second moment). The Ski Event Team will be there to assist you. It is mandatory to be at Turin campus (C.so Unione Sovietica 218 bis) 30 minutes before the departure of your shuttle. As already mentioned above please consider a minimum of 3-4 hours trip.

What about the plane ticket?

The flight ticket price is not included in the Ski Event fee. But you can see our suggested flights.

When is the check-in at the Belambra Clubs?

You can check-in from 2pm till 9pm of Saturday 4th March.

When is the check-out? What do we need to do before check-out?

You need to check-out before 10.30am on Tuesday. You will anyway be given the possibility of lodging your baggage at the Belambra Clubs after the check-out. Please contact us if you want an additional accommodation on Friday or Tuesday night. We will check the hotel availability and let you know.

How does the booking work?

Online booking will open on the 14th February at 9.30pm, and it will be on a first come first served basis. A pre booking will be available from the 4th February just for payment with Satispay (just for Italian bank account), Bank transfer or cash. Further detailed will be given on our pages.

Do we have to pay additional fees during the event? And are there hidden costs during the weekend?

You are only request to pay the ticket price and eventually a supplement of 30€ for the skipass and 10€ for the shuttle service. All the activities are included in the ticket. Only lunches and occasional snacks you may need are not included in the ticket fare. However, as you read, we are cutting deals with the nicest bars and restaurants to make you spend the less possible.

Do I need to bring my Ski Equipment?

There will be the possibility of renting all the ski equipment you might need: skis, snowboards, ski boots and sticks. On Sunday morning, those of you who need to rent any kind of equipment will be guided to the rental shop by a Ski Event Team member. We secured for you special prices. Once you will be subscribed at the event, you will be contacted by us and asked to provide additional information regarding your needs, in order to speed up the process.

Can I also rent the jacket?

Yes, a member of the team will indicate you where. Please just let us know in advance so that we can have everything prepared in advance for you.
